I had a fantastic stay at a charming hostel near the beach in Matosinhos. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a double bed and a private bathroom. The hostel is managed efficiently, and the staff were kind and helpful. I loved the kitchen and terrace, perfect for enjoying a meal or relaxing. The location is excellent, with easy access to the metro, the beach, and delicious restaurants. Plus, it was great to explore a different side of Porto, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
The only drawback was the lack of a barrier on the top bunk bed, which could be a problem for someone who moves around in their sleep. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience.

The house had a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff provided great service. The fully equipped kitchen and nice day rooms were definitely a plus. The location was also convenient as it was close to the beach and public transport.
The room I stayed in was far too small and narrow for the number of bunks. The bathroom was also quite small with just one toilet and two shower cubicles.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a well-designed private bathroom. the natural light and fresh air made for a pleasant stay. the easy check-in and check-out process, using a lock box for the key, was convenient. the hotel is also located close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the area.
There was an issue with the showers in the dormitories, with only one out of two working. This inconvenience could be frustrating, especially with a larger number of guests.

The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. We loved being so close to all the beautiful scenery. The common areas were clean and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. And the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals.
Despite these drawbacks, I still found Fishtail Sea House to be a great option. The location alone was worth it, and overall, the property was clean and well-furnished.

The breakfasts were amazing, with a wide variety of options that satisfied all tastes. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel relaxed and at ease throughout our stay.
It was small and cramped, with uncomfortable bunk beds that didn't have any barriers. This could be a problem for someone who moves around a lot in their sleep.

The common room and dining room had plenty of natural light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. the staff, especially Paula, were friendly and helpful, providing valuable information about Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. the location was ideal for attending events at Parque da Cidade, such as NOS Primavera Sound.
The only issue I encountered during my stay was the delay in receiving the invoice that I had requested multiple times. Despite assurances that it would be sent by email, I have not received any response or communication regarding this matter.
